The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center can accommodate comprehensive audio visual (AV) solutions for any type of event. Our preferred provider for audio visual equipment is South Carolina Audio Visual, ensuring high-quality presentation technology, seamless technical support, and professional equipment rental.
As the preferred AV vendor at the convention center, there are many advantages of using SCAV, from onsite AV technicians during your event for assistance and troubleshooting to efficient rigging tailored to your room setup and audience needs. SCAV’s services are designed to support everything from small breakout sessions to large-scale conventions while maximizing operational efficiency within the Convention Center. Plus, there are multiple cost savings from the facility (summarized below), as SCAV’s team is certified to provide their own power and rigging in the facility.
- Convenience power for projector & laptop - up to $55.00 per room
- Convenience power for tech control - up to $55.00 per room
- Patch to house sound - $60.00 per room
- Cost per rigging point used - $50.00 per point
- Scissor lift rental for rigging - $450.00/day
