8:30 AM – Registration and Continental Breakfast

9:00 AM – Introductions and Opening: Vice President/General Manager of the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, Cheryl Swanson, CVE, City of Columbia Police Department Chief Holbrook, and a regional representative from the Department of Homeland Security

9:45 AM – Session One: "Situational Awareness (Risk Mitigation through Guest Services Interjection)" with IAVM Director of Education, Mark Herrera

11:00 AM – Session Two: “Active Threat / Active Shooter Overview” with IAVM Director of Education, Mark Herrera 

11:30 AM – Lunch

12:15 PM – Session Three: “Trained Crowd Manager” (Part One) with Paul Villotti, PE, Director of Life Safety, Henderson Engineering 

2:00 PM – Break

2:15 PM – Session Three: “Trained Crowd Manager” (Part Two) with Paul Villotti, PE, Director of Life Safety, Henderson Engineering 

3:45 PM – Group Photo, Certificates

4:00 PM - Conclude

Registration includes Trained Crowd Manager (TCM) certification, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and all day beverages.
