In the post-COVID-19 era, you may find yourself looking at the spaces you visit and thinking: “how clean are they, really?” At CMCC, we have gone above and beyond to assure our visitors that it doesn’t just look clean – it really is!

CMCC is now a GBAC Star Facility – considered the gold standard for safe facilities. The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) created the Star Facility accreditation as a way for venues to show that they are serious about disinfection and disease prevention.

The credential means that we adhere to rigorous guidelines for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention including:

  • Following a strict set of cleaning protocols

  • Training our staff in proper disinfection techniques and infection prevention practices

  • Sterilizing high-touch surfaces with regular frequency

  • Having a plan in place for emergency preparedness and response

The GBAC frequently updates their recommendations based on the latest science, so we will always be working with the latest information to keep our visitors healthy and safe.
